And that it was caused by a message I got in my inbox from an account that I can’t remember the URL of.
The message consisted of something along the lines of: “Hey I think your blog is great.” But when I clicked on their icon (which was the default Tumblr icon, not a customised one), something weird happened and apparently I had to log back into Tumblr. Which I did. And then suddenly the customisation of my blog page was reset, so I had to re-customise it. And now my ask box isn’t working.
And just now I apparently “reblogged” this spam message — something about getting more Tumblr followers, IDK — which I didn’t reblog and can’t have reblogged, as I was on a different account.
… And now the message that triggered this is mysteriously missing from my ask when I never deleted it. o_e Which is veeeery suspicious.
If this post ends up mysteriously deleted to…I will take that as confirmation that someone is hacking my blog.
If it’s a virus, it hasn’t spread to my computer. It seems to be isolated to this one blog, and hasn’t affected my other blogs or computer performance.
I just want to know what’s going on.
PLEASE SIGNAL BOOST THIS. I know I don’t usually ask for signal boosts, but I think I might need to warn people and I want to know if there’s someone who can fix this…
